Short Version

While Manor Time is closing down at the end of June, and will be relocating to Richmond, I am going to be passing on the Party Jam Invite list to a few people in the community so that these events can continue to happen.

The list is going to only be an email list, so if you’d like to be included in the new Party Jam series, or want details of the last up and coming jams, just hit the submission form. If you are already on the email list and you’ve been getting emails, I gotcha on the list already :).

Long Version

Over the past 3 years, Manor Time has hosted 25 party jams. Starting with a list of 20 people at the first jam in March 2022, within a year bloomed into a vibrant community of over 200 people, and currently stands at over 350.

When I opened the space, I never planned to host these events, it sort of just happened and I went with it. But truly it was the first folks who came, time after time, that set the tone for a welcoming and collaborative environment. Ya’ll made it what it was and what it is.

Now with the last jams happening in the coming months, a lot of folks have asked me what will happen to the jams and the list once you move down to Richmond.

While I did open the door to the space and play a role in building this community, I want to make sure that these gatherings don’t stop, simply because I’m the one in possession of the invite list. I want there to be a place where folks can gather, no cover, no lists, no featured artist, just everyone on one level connecting through music.

While these 2 jams will be the last Manor Time Party Jams, it is my hope that these gatherings will continue to happen, and grow into something that brings even more of the DMV together. In that spirit, I will be passing on the party jam invite list to a few people in the community.
